Jack White’s Third Man Records has revealed its plans for this year’s Record Store Day, and they include the first-ever authorized release of the White Stripes’ 2001 Peel Sessions.

Jack and Meg White recorded the live sessions with famed BBC DJ John Peel in support of their breakthrough third album White Blood Cells. They have been bootlegged ever since, but this marks their first proper release. Third Man will issue the Peel Sessions as a special double-LP on red and white vinyl for Record Store Day on April 16. A standard black vinyl edition will follow later this year.

Third Man will also release Jack White and the Muppets’ cover of Stevie Wonder’s “You Are the Sunshine of My Life.” White performed the song on the Muppets’ eponymous TV show earlier this month. The 7” will be pressed on green vinyl for RSD, but it will only be available at the TMR stores in Nashville and Detroit.

Finally, Third Man will also release a new, White-produced single from Kate Pierson of the B-52's. It will feature “Venus” on the A-side and “Radio in Bed” on the flip. Check out Pierson’s video for “Venus,” directed by Whirlwind Heat’s Brad Holland, right here and then take a look at photos of all of Third Man's RSD releases below:
