Whitefish Teenager Maggie Voisin Chosen For Olympic Team
On Tuesday, 15 year old Maggie Voisin of Whitefish found out that she was chosen to participate in the 2014 Winter Olympics for the Slopestyle event. How amazing is that!?
Maggie has been skiing since she was just 2 years old and won the WSI/AFP World Championship in Whistler last year and placed in the top three in multiple U.S. Revolution tour competitions. She's the definition of bad ass.
Miss Maggie will be headed to the Winter Olympics in Sochi in a couple of weeks. First up, the X-Games, where she will compete in Slopestyle Free Skiing this weekend. She must be going out of her mind with excitement.
We here at 96.3 The Blaze want to extend our congratulations to Maggie and her family. To be such an extraordinary athlete at such a young age takes an insane amount of dedication along with family support. Good for you Maggie, you're an inspiration, bring home the gold!!
