April is National Child Abuse Prevention month and Missoulians are displaying blue pinwheels to show their support. Pinwheels are only $1 each and you can pick up yours at The Parenting Place, 1644 S. 8th Street W. Proceeds will directly help to educate people about how to reduce or eliminate any and all trauma that Western Montana children may suffer.

That's one way to help, but what about every day situations? Perhaps you're at the grocery store and witness a parent losing their patience and putting their child in danger. What do you do? Teresa Nygaard, the Executive Director of The Parenting Place and co-director of Prevent Child Abuse Montana has some suggestions. Learn more here and don't forget to pick up your pinwheels to show your support!
