So far the Spring turkey season is off to a slow start. In my attempts to bag a bird on public land, I have only managed to get in range of a young gobbler. Meanwhile, people complain that they had wild turkeys invading their private property all around the area of public land I was hunting.

A couple in Minnesota recently came home to find a large gobbler on their living room couch. They did everything they could to get the "thunderbird" to leave. But, he was not budging. The couple actually had to call the local police to come and try to usher the bird out the door. The reactions from everyone involved is hilarious.
