If you haven't seen "The Revenant" yet, you have to. It is an amazing movie. But, even though the director, Alejandro González Iñárritu, did his best to make it as accurate as possible, there are still a fair share of haters. We here in Montana are no strangers to news of bear attacks. Just this past year, we had a young man stuff his whole arm down a bear's throat, just to survive. A woman who was mauled by a bear in California recently commented that "As you'd see from the pictures of me when I was taken to the emergency room, Leo got off extremely lightly indeed. And while we're at it, bears that big don't drop dead from three stab wounds to the shoulder with a Bowie knife. It struck me as [laughably] faked." It sounds like Iñárritu should have done a little more research by spending a summer in the Bob Marshall, getting chewed on.

This story reminded me of a stand up bit that comedian Bobcat Goldthwait did about movies fans that take accuracy in movies too seriously. Totally worth the watch.
