World Wide Clown Shortage Allows For New Career Opportunities

You know how Missoulians say it's tough to get a job in this town? Maybe we just need more clowns.  New York's Daily News reports:

Membership at the country’s largest trade organizations for the jokesters has plunged over the past decade as declining interest, old age and higher standards.

There are trade organizations for clowns? Who knew? Get this, there's also a World Clown Association:

Membership at the World Clown Association, the country’s largest trade group for clowns, has dropped from about 3,500 to 2,500 since 2004.

Considering this news, no wonder clowns in every photo we see are sad. Apparently the world has enough doctors, lawyers, professional sports players and social media gurus, what the world really needs is more clowns.
