Every Monday evening at the Iridium in NYC, the Les Paul Trio assemble to play and honor guitar great and innovator Les Paul. The tradition includes welcoming legendary guest guitarists to join them for unique, one of a kind shows and the latest invite extended was to Zakk Wylde, who will perform with the trio June 10.

The showcase features Zakk Wylde collaborating with the Les Paul Trio with Wylde crafting the set list for the night, usually featuring a mix of Les Paul material and the guest guitarist's original music. This of course opens a world of opportunities for Wylde who spent the beginning of his career working with Ozzy Osbourne before breaking out on his own to create his current band, Black Label Society.

In addition to performing with the Les Paul Trio, Wylde will spend the following two nights (June 11-12) on the Iridium stage, as well, with two intimate shows billed as ‘An Evening With Zakk Wylde.’ These shows will likely give fans the opportunity to see a different side of Wylde. For ticket info or to find more out about the shows, visit the Iridium website.

Fans not in New York can catch Wylde and Black Label Society as part of Dave Mustaine’s 2013 Gigantour lineup. Gigantour kicks off in July and runs through mid-August; check out the dates below:
