Prepare to have your senses overloaded as 1,000 musicians perform Rage Against the Machine's classic "Killing in the Name" together at the same time. It's the latest rock-and-roll stunt from Rockin' 1000, the so-called "Biggest Rock Band on Earth" that undertakes such huge showings of high-powered tunes.

In fact, you may recall when the group pulled a similar performance with Foo Fighters' "Learn to Fly." That time, the ploy was designed to bring the Foos to Cesena, Italy, where Rockin' 1000 is based. The massive crew have also tackled songs by artists such as Nirvana, AC/DC, the White Stripes and more. Watch Rockin' 1000's cover of Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" down toward the bottom of this post.

"This is what happened on July 7th in Frankfurt," Rockin' 1000 revealed on social media Sunday (August 11). "1000 musicians from all over the world working their ass off to celebrate this magnificent hymn to rebellion by Rage Against the Machine. This is their video. And we're damn proud! Thank you."

The throng's "Learn to Fly" gambit in 2015 actually worked. Foo Fighters performed in Cesena on November 3 of that year, opening their set with none other than "Learn to Fly."

Foo Fighters are currently on tour in Europe and the U.K., where bandleader Dave Grohl invited a concertgoer in a wheelchair onstage in Hungary Tuesday (August 13). Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello now plays in supergroup Prophets of Rage as well as tours his solo material from last year's The Atlas Underground.
