2011 Griz Home Opener

I'm not gonna pretend to know anything about stats n' scores n' home team victory probability, but I can tell you one of the greatest feelings in the world for any Missoulian, is being at a Griz game.

The Griz host the Cal Poly Mustangs tomorrow at Washington Grizzly stadium with kick off at 1:05.

Aside from ass kickin' football, they've got some pretty rad stuff planned including remembrances of 9/11 (coincidentally, the Griz played Cal Poly just before the 9/11 attacks in 2001), wounded U.S. Marine Tomy Parker of Ronan will make an appearance and there will be a celebration of the Little Leagers from Billings between 1st & 2nd quarter.

As far as weather goes it'll be pretty much like what you see today, attempted sunshine through smoke and haze with a high around 89.

But, as all Missoulians know, snow/rain/blistering sun/win/lose...doesn't matter.  It's all about the experience of getting out and seeing people you haven't seen since last season and invading tailgate parties.  OK, maybe that's just me, I know for you guys it really IS about the WIN.  GO GRIZ!
