Politician Castrates Hogs, Hopes to Become a Senator [VIDEO]

Joni Ernst is an Iowa GOP running for a senate seat and her TV ad campaign begins with her bragging about her ability to castrate hogs.What does this have to do with her ability to lead and make important stuff happen? She claims:

I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm, so when I get to Washington, I'll know how to cut pork.
