5 Potential Locations for a New ‘Spirit Christmas’ in Missoula

I recently found myself wandering the Walmart aisle late at night. I don't know what I was looking for. I was just mindlessly wandering. Past the Halloween candy and the plastic jack-o-lanterns. Past the Halloween costumes and school supplies. Soon I found myself completely surrounded by nothing but "CHRISTMAS!"

Christmas happens pretty early in retail these days. The leaves haven't even begun to fall and stores are already covered in tinsel and sparkly snowflakes.

The popular Halloween holiday store, Spirit Halloween, is taking a page out of "A Nightmare Before Christmas," and opening up dedicated Christmas stores.

Fear not, this doesn't mean that the Halloween store is going to start decorating early and be filled with Santas (even though that would be pretty terrifying.) Spirit is testing select locations in the North East US. They are planning to transform Spirit Halloween locations into mini North Poles.

Montana currently has 6 Spirit Halloween locations. One of which is located on Russell Street in Missoula. If the test is successful, your favorite Halloween store could be covered in fake snow and pine trees. Who knows, maybe every vacant retail location in town could soon be filled with elves and screaming kids chugging cocoa.
