A Montana Business Could Make Starting Campfires Easier for You
Whether it's for campfires, wood stoves, fireplaces or fire pits, we stumbled upon a product that you might like.
If you're camping, hiking, hunting or fishing in the great Montana outdoors, or just lounging on your patio, it's nice to know that getting your fire started is a lot easier and faster without wads of paper, stinky fluids and having to mess with kindling.
Locally-owned here in western Montana, Montana Campfire carries America's premier fire starter kits. They've got several sizes of containers to choose from. You can get the easy-to-carry backpackers' tube with enough to start six fires. They have the three-quart campers special, which will start around 48 fires. Both of those have very nice waterproof packaging. And there's also the two-gallon decorative tins with enough to ignite around 100 fires. Lookin' good near your fireplace!
It sounds like one of those really cool products that you never knew you wanted or needed until you tried it. You can get them at the Axmen on Highway 10 west of Missoula and at participating Town Pumps. You can also find some ordering information and more details on the Montana Campfire website.
It probably goes without saying, but this is not a toy and, as it is when starting and burning any campfire, should be treated with the utmost respect. We just thought you might find this product handy to have.
