A Montana Farmer Shares Video of Insane Amount of Grasshoppers
Everyone has their deep seeded phobias. Some have a fear of spiders or a fear of heights. Some have weird phobias like a fear of the color blue or fear of small cars. I just so happen to have an odd fear that goes back to my early childhood. I am not ashamed to admit that I am afraid of grasshoppers.
It is a fear that began when I was say 3 years old. It was one of my earliest memories. I clearly remember sitting in the back seat of my mother's car. It was a hot summer day, and we drove down a typical Montana dirt road. The car didn't have much for air conditioning, so we had all the windows rolled down. While driving close to highway speed, a grasshopper jumped from the edge of the road and pelted me in my face. It landed on my cheek and I remember looking at it with creepy little eyes. That was about when it spits a gross black substance in my eye, and I FLIPPED OUT! Ever since that day I have despised grasshoppers.
It appears that some nightmare fuel has been unleashed on the internet. A video has surfaced out of Saco, Montana showing an apocalyptic plague amount of grasshoppers. Something that would make me scream running until I reached the ocean.
According to the video from Tom DePuydt
The little access door is where you can reach in and grab a sample of grain from the grain hopper of a Case IH Combine. This video was taken while harvesting Yellow Peas near Saco Montana.
I'm going to go find a dark hole to climb into, and hope that the video I just shared doesn't haunt me.
NOTE: I'm only okay with grasshoppers when it comes to fishing. But, even then it is like watching a Kardashian trying to put a worm on a hook.
