All Hail the Yeti + Invidia to Embark on ‘Screaming Black Curse Tour’
Get ready for an exciting tour featuring a couple of up-and-coming acts as hardcore / metal outfit All Hail the Yeti embark on a headlining trek with Invidia and Broken Rail, dubbed the 'Screaming Black Curse Tour.'
The run will launch on May 17 from Los Angeles, working the coast before venturing to the Midwest, extending as far as Oklahoma and Texas, turning it back around to hit Arizona and California before the tour's conclusion as All Hail the Yeti tout their latest album, Screams From a Black Wilderness.
"Invidia [are] beyond thrilled to hit the road with our friends in the mighty All Hail the Yeti! We're excited to see our Invidian nation again as we roll through the U.S.! Come out and have a night you wont forget," exclaimed bassist Matt Snell, a former member of Five Finger Death Punch.
Rounded out by vocalist Travis Johnson (In This Moment), guitarists Brian Jackson and Marcos Medina Rivera (both ex-Skinlab) and drummer Darren Badorine (Six Ounce Gloves), Invidia are supporting their debut record, As the Sun Sleeps, which was released on March 31 through SPV.
Jackson told Huffington Post, "It feels great to finally be able to release this record. It's been finished and mixed now for about a year, but we wanted to make sure we had all the right outlets in place before we released it to the world and to the public. We are very excited to hear everybody's feedback and are looking forward to what the new year will bring us all. I want to thank everybody that's been involved along the way and I hope to see you all on the road soon!" Snell chimed in, "I haven't been this excited to release a new record in years. In a sea of 'by the numbers' music, As the Sun Sleeps will truly be a stand out!"
