Due to the state finding of COVID-19 virus in Montana, the Montana High School Association (MHSA) has halted all the State high school basketball tournaments. The announcements were made at the AA, A, B and C Tournaments Friday night, March 13. Mark Beckman, Executive Director of MHSA, said in a news release that the "Association will designate the winners of the Friday semi-final games as co-state champions." The MHSA and each host facility will address the refunds of tickets. That information is at the MHSA website.

In his statement, Beckman said that due to the Montana Department of Health and Human Services announcement of four COVID-19 cases Friday in the state "the Montana High School Association has no choice but to cancel the remainder of our state basketball tournaments." The four cases were in Yellowstone, Silver Bow, Broadwater, and Gallatin Counties. Those results will be checked by the Centers for Disease Control, according to the Montana Governor's Office.
