All Montana Walmart Stores to Make This Mandatory Change in 2024
If you are an early riser, Montana Walmart locations may look a little different to you. People who find themselves heading out to do shopping first thing in the morning will notice a slight change to what they see and hear when they walk into a Walmart location.
Montana currently has 14 Walmart locations and these locations can sometimes be the hub for day-to-day operations for most Montana families.
Some people have a hard time shopping in large retail stores. The bright lights and piped-in music can be overwhelming to those with "sensory" issues. This is why all Montana Walmart locations will be implementing a "sensory-friendly" time for shoppers who suffer from conditions like ADHD, autism, and PTSD.
According to Business Insider, "sensory-friendly" hours take place from 8 am to 10 am
During that period of the morning, stores will dim some of the lights in the store, turn off the music, and have screens on the TV wall play a "static image."
Things like bright lights, loud music, and big crowds can cause sensory overload. People with autism, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are more likely to experience sensory overload.
These changes have already taken place in all Montana locations and are going to be a permanent fixture in the day-to-day operations of all Walmart stores.
