All Nations In Search of Native Cowboys/Girls & Artists
Our cowboy friend from Sun River happens to be in the room as I type this so I asked him, "what are cowboys and cowgirls called together? cowpeople?" He immediately answered, "cowfolk." So we are looking for some Native cowfolk.
In all seriousness, All Nations Health Center will be holding their annual MMIW awareness event during the Western Montana Fair on Wednesday, August 11th and they are searching for a few more participants. They need horse/rider pairs to carry Montana's tribal flags in the opening grand entry of the rodeo.
You will be responsible for bringing a horse to ride in the grand entry. Stalls will be provided and gas cards are available for those riders who are coming from out of town. All riders will also be given a ribbon shirt to wear for the event.
If you're interested, please contact Kiana Davis at 406-829-9515 ext. 103 or kdavis@allnations.health
