There's been a buzz about one of Missoula's oldest flower shops, people have been saying it's been sold or even going out of business. We were excited to learn that some of our favorite local business owners have bought Garden City Floral.

Mariaha and Matt Rogers, owners of Rogers and Co. Fine Jewelry and Design, are the ambitious new owners of Garden City Floral. Mariaha is the daughter of the founders of Missoula's legendary Chalet Jewelers, so the business of sparkle is in her blood and she is phenomenal at what she does.

Who better to purchase a floral shop than someone who specializes in wedding rings!? It makes perfect sense. I spoke with Mariaha on my show this week and she explained that Garden City will remain in its location at Spurgin and Reserve and will feature a second Rogers and Co. store along with the flower shop. The original Rogers and Co. is on Mullan between Super Walmart and the movie theater.

Mariaha also told me that they are doing some remodeling, not only to the structure itself but also to the coolers and pretty much everything inside the store. The purchase has been made and Garden City is ready for Valentine's Day so don't worry about them being in the middle of a sale, they're ready to rock! In fact, they're offering one-stop holiday shopping with special pricing on packages that include gorgeous flowers, impressive jewelry, and delivery! Here's what comes in the "Sapphires & Roses" package.

Congrats to this awesome family on their latest success! Keep them in mind for upcoming engagements, weddings, anniversaries, and special occasions. Especially if you need help coming up with a truly unique ring design, that's Mariaha's specialty.
