Missoula is Brave
Did you hear about this? I was watching the local news Thursday morning before work and couldn’t believe what I was hearing and seeing. The story seemed unreal.
Healthy Chocolate Pudding with Avocado Recipe
I love chocolate pudding. I have at least five boxes of instant pudding mix in my pantry at all times. My favorite is pistachio but chocolate is a very close second. I have to say that I’m not really certain how healthy or unhealthy instant pudding is for me. I know it takes a lot of milk to make, so I’m getting quite a bit of calcium in my diet, but other than that, I’m not really sure.
Rice Krispie Party Pop Recipe
My family loves Rice Krispie treats. I love them too. Not especially for how they taste, but because of how easy they are to make. They are an easy last-minute treat or dessert. They are also great because they don’t take expensive or strange ingredients. Most of these ingredients I keep in my pantry at all times.
My 5 Favorite Summer Coffee Hacks
Like most people, I love coffee. I’m convinced that I couldn’t survive without it. Well, maybe I could but my mornings would be much more terrible. They wouldn’t just be unpleasant for me but for everyone who was around me in the morning.
Pina Colada Frozen Yogurt Recipe
A couple years ago I bought an ice cream maker after tasting the ice cream my parents had made in theirs. If you’ve never had homemade ice cream before then you are missing out. No ice cream I’ve ever bought has come close to tasting as good as homemade does.
Easy and Delicious Edible Slime Experiment
It’s hard to keep kids still thinking about learning in the summer months. As a parent you have to think of sneaky ways to get them to even consider turning on their brains for science or math when all they want to is run through the sprinklers all day to beat the heat.
4th of July Bark Recipe
This past weekend I was at a barbecue and the hostess had a nice big bowl of bark sitting on her table for everyone to enjoy. It’s one of those things I don’t normally think to serve at a get together, but I must say I enjoyed more than my fair share of it. I’d forgotten how much I like bark.
4th of July Berry Trifle Recipe
Trifle is one of those dishes that always looks so complicated to make, but really isn’t. They also look very fancy. I like that combo. A dish that looks like you put a lot of work into it, but you really didn’t have to.
Easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar Recipe
My husband loves those pricey store bought protein bars. He buys boxes upon boxes of them. He eats them like they are going out of style. The only problem with these are that they get kind of expensive after a while.
5 Summer Time Work Snacks
When I’m at work I’m a total snacker. All my coworkers know I have a snack drawer, and if they’re itching for something to chew on they know where to look.
Coconut Oil Pulling
Have you heard of this? Pulling with coconut oil? It seems that half of my social media friends are doing it. I have to admit that I’m a bit skeptical. I don’t understand how placing a spoonful of coconut oil in your mouth and just letting it sit there for 20-30 minutes can do everything they claim that it does.
Summer Sports
My boys love sports. They play all kinds. However, we usually have a break from them in the summer and try to focus on fishing and camping. This doesn’t mean my kids still don’t want to play sports, though.
