Blink-182 Unveil ‘Enema’-Like Track ‘Wildfire,’ Tom DeLonge Reconnects With Travis Barker
Blink-182 just won’t stop hitting fans with new music! The pop-punk veteran describe their latest cut, “Wildfire,” as a perfect marriage between Enema of the State and California.
Blink have been prepping a deluxe reissue of California, which is the band’s first release with Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba on vocals and guitar. The deluxe edition boasts a massive 28 songs, basically giving the fans an entire new album of material. Blink have already given fans a listen to “Parking Lot,” “Misery,” “6/8” and the 30-second “Cant Get You More Pregnant.”
“Think of your favorite song from Enema of the State. Now think of your favorite song from California. Now imagine them falling in love and starting a family of their own. That’s what this song is,” Blink write about “Wildfire.”
Blink-182 have gigantic plans for 2017, including a pair of stadium shows with Linkin Park, Wu-Tang Clan and Machine Gun Kelly. As for news on former Blink member Tom DeLonge, he apparently had “a good conversation” with drummer Travis Barker last week. Barker responded to DeLonge’s tweet with a simple “ha”:
