"There's a grill in Stockman’s?!" was what I first thought when Angel told me about Blue Bison Grill. That when I realized I had never been past the bar anytime I was in there...  I had been missing out!  Blue Bison Grill opened this summer and I didn’t find out about it till this week.  I had to investigate.

The first thing that enters my mind when someone talks to me about bar food is a deep-fried mass that is "the best thing in the world" ...when you're drunk.  The next day of dealing with a hangover and a grease bomb gut will make you think twice about your drunk munchie cravings.  This is not Blue Bison.  If you ever take a look at their menu you will see everything from your classic cheeseburger to rice bowls.  Don't like beef? They have bison. Don't like red meat? They have chicken. Don't like any meat? They even have black bean patties for your "burger" and tofu!   

I am a sucker for frybread.  I ordered the White Buffalo Flatbread Taco and my God was it amazing!  We're talking slow cooked pulled bison with onion and mushroom (portabella mushroom at that!!! *drool*) top that off with swiss cheese... pretty much the awesomeness of a philly sandwich added to more awesomeness of frybread. Are you hungry yet?  Might have to go for a flatbread wrap next time.  K.C. and I were discussing the odd combination/potentially my new favorite find: The Bella Bison.  This is a flatbread sandwich filled with bison, yogurt sauce, swiss cheese, cabbage, and coconut.
