Bullet for My Valentine’s Matt Tuck Plays ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’
We’ve got another highly requested episode of ‘Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?’ for you! This time around, Bullet for My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck confirms and denies what’s written about him on Wikipedia.
As one of the biggest metal acts of the 21st century, there’s plenty that has been written about Bullet for My Valentine. First off, Tuck dispels the rumor that BFMV changed their name from "Jeff Killed John." “Complete fiction,” Tuck says. “It’s not true, guys. The Jeff Killed John thing was something we came up with when we were like 15 years old because of a stupid incident at school.”
Tuck also goes into his childhood during this interview, reminiscing about the first time he picked up a guitar at age 14. Like many aspiring axemen of his generation, the first song Tuck learned was Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” “Those Nirvana tracks, they’re great for simplicity,” Tuck explains.
