Have you heard of this? Pulling with coconut oil? It seems that half of my social media friends are doing it. I have to admit that I’m a bit skeptical. I don’t understand how placing a spoonful of coconut oil in your mouth and just letting it sit there for 20-30 minutes can do everything they claim that it does.

I suppose I shouldn’t be that skeptical since I know and trust most of these people, but it just seems hard to believe that you can get so many benefits from one food.

I had one friend claim that she used to have three cavities and after two months of pulling, her cavities were gone. I had another friend claim it whitened her teeth. Yet another claimed that it cleared up her complexion.

According to the internet coconut oil pulling can cure everything from fatigue and insomnia to migraines and diabetes. It would be great if pulling could do all the things they claim it can do.

I think that even with all my skepticism about oil pulling, I’m going to try it. After all, what if it does work? It would be a pretty inexpensive way to solve quite a few health problems.
