Missoula has a new option for medical care that doesn't require a trip to the emergency room.

A second Community FirstCare location has opened up downtown.  You can find the walk-in clinic on East Front Street - on the first floor of the new ROAM Student Housing building.

The goal of the new clinic is to use online check-in to reduce wait times and also reduce costs for treating minor issues.

Patients can check in online, and skip the waiting room time, and be able to see a medical provider in under three minutes.

The facility has a dedicated X-ray machine and technician.  So they'll be able to serve patients who would normally head to the emergency room.

Hours for the new Community FirstCare location are:
Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Sunday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Walk-ins are welcome, but checking in online at communityfirstcare.com can save about 10 minutes of waiting time.
