Community Judges Needed For Nearly 300 Big Sky High School Senior Projects
Graduation is nearing and that means Big Sky High School is looking for some help in judging senior projects.
"We have seniors at Big Sky High School that have to create a senior project," said Senior Project Coordinator Abby Green. "They allow students an opportunity to explore career choice, they can do some research, produce events, some of the students construct things or work with a non-profit, and then they create a presentation and we would like community members to be there to judge their presentation."
Green says they get over 100 volunteers to judge the projects last year… and they will need at least as many this year.
"We have about 300 students that will be presenting projects and we need at least three judges for each project. We have three different time slots that people can sign-up for and lunch is included with being a panel member at Big Sky. We have a sign-up on SignUpGenius or you can call me at 728-2400 at extension 8634."
Green says the signup-list will stay open until the night before senior project presentations, which is set for Thursday, May 24th. Judges will be needed that day between 8:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m.
