Corvallis High School Sports End Season with Victories

The Corvallis High School boys tennis team and boys track team both won their State Class A competitions this past weekend. The new track and field trophy (third from the left in the above photo) was one of the many on display on a Memorial Day float Monday.

The State A Track and Field championship was the second in four years for the Blue Devils and the Tennis victory was a tight finish between Corvallis, Whitefish and Hardin. Meanwhile, Florence-Carlton won the State B & C softball tournament, defeating Huntley Project 10 to 0 in five innings. It's the Falcons' 10th track championship in 20 years. The Hamilton High School Softball team took home second place at the State A tournament, losing to Belgrade 7 to 2. The only team to beat the Lady Broncs this year was Belgrade, who repeated as state champion for 2018.
