COVID-19 Update: Montana Adds 1,058 New Cases, Three More Deaths

As of Thursday morning, Montana has confirmed 245,606 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 1,058 new confirmed cases. There are currently 14,187 active cases in the state.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,381,592 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 549,443 Montanans are fully immunized.

In Missoula, 190,652 doses have been administered and 75,296 people are fully immunized. 65% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which remains tied for the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

According to state statistics, 228,390 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 338 people are currently hospitalized.

The number of tests increased by 4,552 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 2,521,706.

The state COVID-19 related death toll increased from 3,026 on Wednesday to 3,029 on Thursday, according to state health officials.
