COVID-19 Update: Montana Adds 2,051 New Cases, 7 More Deaths

As of Wednesday morning, Montana has confirmed 218,047 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 2,051 new confirmed cases. There are currently 11,242 active cases in the state.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,363,401 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 545,592 Montanans are fully immunized.

In Missoula, 188,745 doses have been administered and 74,985 people are fully immunized. 65% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which remains the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

According to state statistics, 203,841 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 242 people are currently hospitalized.

The number of tests increased by 15,500 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 2,419,481.

The state COVID-19 related death toll increased from 2,957 on Tuesday to 2,964 on Wednesday, according to state health officials.
