Daylight Savings Time Ends Sunday Morning, Nov. 4
That hour we lost alongside the road in the spring has been found! Yes, it's time to switch back to Mountain Standard Time this weekend. The official time to add the hour is 2 a.m. At that time, some automatic clocks simply go back to 1 a.m. Manually - the way I always do this - is to set the clock back one hour when I go to bed Saturday night. The slogan is Spring Forward, Fall Back. We lose an hour in the spring and get it back in the fall. The reason? I don't remember, really, but it had something to do with a Marvel superhero. If you don't like this situation, move to Arizona. They don't observe Daylight Savings Time ... and they're not alone!
Also, it's a good time to change the batteries in your smoke alarms. We have a story about that somewhere on this page, too. I saw it here an hour ago ....
