Death Cab For Cutie Announce New Shows with Missoula Stop

Alt rock band Death Cab For Cutie announced a handful of dates for September and they will kick it off right here in Missoula! They are scheduled for the KettleHouse Amphitheater on Saturday, September 4th. Tickets are $49.50 for general admission pit, $42.50 general admission lawn, and $52.50 for reserved stadium seating. If you have back problems or have trouble standing at length, I would recommend the stadium seats. You get a perfect view with seats right behind the pit.

There's also a Logjam presale on Thursday, May 20th, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., sign up to get the code here. If you buy directly from the band's website, $1 from every presale ticket purchased will go to Aurora Commons, which is Seattle's "welcoming space for our unhoused neighbors to rest, prepare a meal, & connect to resources." Their Ogden show is already sold out so get 'em while they're hot!

Missoula LOVES Death Cab, so this is going to be a super fun show. The band is from Bellingham, Washington and have been a staple of the Seattle alt community since 1997. Lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Ben Gibbard is also in Seattle band The Postal Service, so if you've never gotten into their catalog, now might be a good time, the amazing Jenny Lewis is also in that band.

Another Seattle band, Deep Sea Diver are the openers for the Missoula show, they've got an incredible female vocalist, check 'em out here.
