Escape the Fate Deliver Impactful New Video for ‘Breaking Me Down’
Throughout their career, Escape the Fate have never been ones to shy away from issue-oriented music or use the visual medium to help drive home a powerful message. The band is doing that once more with their new video for "Breaking Me Down."
The treatment for the video was co-written by Papa Roach's Jacoby Shaddix and it deals with the struggles of a boy attempting to take care of his mother who has given up on her own life. The clip itself, seen above, was directed by Orie McGinness.
Singer Craig Mabbitt says, "We hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed shooting it. It is an important message you should not only hear but listen to. Shout out to Jacoby for his contribution to this song. Thank you all for your continued love and support of our music. We will see you on the road."
"Breaking Me Down" is featured on Escape the Fate's fifth studio album, Hate Me, which is currently available to purchase via Amazon and iTunes. And as Mabbitt stated, the band is set to hit the road on Nov. 10, joining Nonpoint on their co-headlining "Hate Poison" tour. The trek also includes Get Scared, Failure Anthem and Through Fire in the support slots. Check here for information on the tour.
