Ever Use a One Wheeled Snow Shovel?

We were driving to the radio station today and saw this old dude using a shovel with a big wheel on it. Don't know about you, but I had never seen this before, so I had to look it up.

Apparently it's a thing, I thought maybe he made it himself. There are also shovels with 2 wheels, where the hell have I been? Anyway, here's my question. What if you don't just want to push snow? I imagine the one wheeled shovel is only useful for pushing. Personally, I'm more of a scoop and throw shoveler.

Have you ever used a shovel with a wheel or wheels? How did that work for you? I'm not fishing for Facebook comments, I seriously want to know.
