You don't mess with Black Sabbath — or the band's fans.

One unlucky forger found this out the hard way recently, after attempting to pass off fake tickets for the group's Aug. 21 stop in Bristow, Va., to an unsuspecting buyer. According to the Baltimore Sun, the victim contacted Ticketmaster after completing the sale, at which point the ruse was discovered and they called the police.

The Howard County Police Department conducted an investigation leading them to 34-year-old Shannon Michael Seeber, who's since been arrested and charged with theft scheme, forgery, possession of false government identification and drug possession. According to a statement issued by the department, Seeber was "in possession of additional fraudulent tickets to multiple concerts, including Black Sabbath, Barbara Streisand, Drake and Adele" as well as "several templates for United States Identification badges, a handgun and suspected illegal drugs."

Seeber has been released on $35,000 bond while awaiting trial, and the department has released his photo and a tip number — both of which you can view below — urging anyone who may have purchased goods from him to come forward and help with the case.

Black Sabbath remain on the road as they complete what's being billed as their last-ever tour, which is currently set to conclude with a hometown show in Birmingham, England, on Feb. 4, 2017. In the meantime, they'll work their way through a series of U.S. dates that last until mid-November before heading to Mexico and South America to wrap up their live commitments for 2016.
