Favorite Missoula Brewery Brings Back Its Annual Tree Lightings
Ready to drink some beer and take in some Christmas lights?
Bayern Brewing in Missoula is thinking that you are. So to that end, they're bringing back their annual Christmas tree lightings.
For every Saturday leading up through Christmas, Bayern Brewing will tap the firkin and host a traditional lighting of the tree outdoors (weather permitting). They'll be tapping something new every week, with the flavors being announced the week of the event.
For this first one on Saturday, December 4th, they'll be tapping the Eisbock, which has an ABV of around 13%. That should make for a very merry Christmas!
Does it Cost Any Money to Attend?
Of course not! You can stop by and see the tree lighting for free every Saturday right around 5:30 PM. The beer, of course, is going to cost you. They'll also have hot chocolate trays for kids and hot tea available at each of the lightings.
Hopefully the tree fares a little better than the one in Christmas Vacation though!
(Incidentally, Christmas Vacation is one of many Christmas movies that are scheduled to play at Missoula's Roxy Theater throughout the entire month of December. You can see the full schedule for what's playing right here.)
If you're thinking about going and want to keep updated, you can check out their Facebook event page and see everything you need over there. Will you be heading out to one of the three Bayern Brewing tree lightings during the leadup to Christmas?
