Five Finger Death Punch Share Teaser of First New Album Single ‘Inside Out’
Five Finger Death Punch have been providing fans with frequent updates from the studio as they work on the successor to last year's And Justice for None. Eyeing what looks like a 2020 release, the group has shared a 30-second teaser clip of the new single "Inside Out."
The preview comes in a promotional video for the band's 2020 European tour with Megadeth and Bad Wolves and can be heard below. Lyrically, it's confrontational per usual as Ivan Moody seethes, "Even if you wanted to you couldn't understand / While I'm sitting here dying you're just holding out your hand / Even if I wanted to I couldn't have explained / Because you don't know the difference between violence and pain."
Over the chorus, Moody cathartically sings, "There's no denying it you never had control / I stand alone / Guess I knew it all along / Yes, I knew that you were wrong / How you left when I was down."
In mid-August, bassist Chris Kael confirmed that Five Finger Death Punch had finished three new songs, calling them "beasts."
The group will close out the year on a U.S. arena tour with Three Days Grace, Bad Wolves and Fire From the Gods. See those dates beneath the teaser clip.
