Right around now might be my favorite time of year - the weather's getting a little nicer, people seem a little happier, and we're getting new concert announcements for the summer every single week.

And you may ask yourself, "Wait, wouldn't your favorite time of year be when the concerts are actually happening?"

That's a good point! But the anticipation of each new concert announcement, that rush of excitement you feel when you find out one of your favorites is coming to town - it's tough to top that feeling.

And if you're into critically-acclaimed indie folk bands of the last 15ish years, have we got a concert for you!

Fleet Foxes Will Perform at Kettlehouse Amphitheater on Sunday, July 17th

I was first introduced to Fleet Foxes through this classic video from 2009, when The Lonely Island's Jorma Taccone danced to them during a rehearsal for when they were the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

In the years since this video, Fleet Foxes has released three more albums, picking up Grammy nominations and a reputation as one of the best working indie bands along the way.

And you'll be able to see them at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater near Missoula on Sunday, July 17th, touring in support of their 2020 album Shore. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 22nd, at Logjam Presents' website.

Excited for this show or any of the other Kettlehouse shows this summer? You may also want to check out their Record Store Day contest, where a pair of tickets to a wide selection of Kettlehouse concerts is up for grabs!
