Fly Swatters are Dumb – Everyone Needs a Bug-A-Salt
The internet has lost their minds over the cameo a fly made on the Vice Presidential Debates that took place last night in Utah. The internet has been flooded with hilarious memes and GIFs. The fly landing on Mike Pence's head during the debate. And remained there for an awkward amount of time. It is safe to say that it was one of the highlights of the debate. But, you got to give it to VP Pence for continuing his argument without trying to swat the fly. If there is a fly anywhere in my house, or even just the possibility of a fly being picked up in my peripheral vision, I will clear my schedule making sure to take that fly down. That vendetta made all that much easier thanks to an amazing piece of technology.
I made one of the best mistakes ever. I ordered a gift for my nephew online. It didn't show up in time, so I resorted to buying him another gift. A week later, it arrived, and it is now a permanent addition to my home. I am talking about a gadget called the Bug-A-Salt. The easiest way to describe it, is a shotgun for flies. It is an air powered gun that uses simple table salt as ammunition. If you think about it, if you compare the pellets of a 12ga shotgun versus a duck, salt pellets are about the same to a fly. You simply load it with salt and go hunting. With spring here, be on the look out for flies to come out of hiding. Throw away your fly swatters and get a bug-a-salt.
