Foo Fighters Announce Return to Montana To Benefit Montana Rivers
It has been a small buzz that has been getting louder and louder over the past few weeks. The possibility of the Foo Fighters returning to Montana after the loss of drummer Taylor Hawkins. Well, the rumors have turned out to be true. As the Foo Fighters have announced a live concert performance in Big Sky, MT.
According to the Wildlands Festival website
Rock N Roll Hall of Famers, Foo Fighters, are set to headline the Sunday, August 6 event for their first performance in Big Sky and an unforgettable evening at the intimate 5000-person Big Sky Events Arena. Lord Huron will headline the Saturday, August 5 show; other confirmed musicians and talent throughout the weekend include The Breeders, Taipei Houston, James McMurtry, Regina Ferguson, and comedians Orlando Leyba and Forrest Shaw.
Clearly, there are far more Foo fans than can fit in the small 5,000-person venue. So, the Wildlands Festival has decided to go with a lottery system to purchase tickets. meaning you will have to get your name drawn in the lottery in order to purchase tickets. And, the tickets are not cheap. Because this is a charity fundraiser featuring Grammy award-winning performances, ticket prices are more than some Foo fans can afford.
Tickets are ranging from $150 for GA bleacher seats to $5,000 for VIP. Plus, you only have until Monday, May 8 th to get your name in the lottery to purchase your tickets.
