Fox Club Shooting Victim in Missoula Identified [AUDIO]

The Missoula County Coroner has released the victim's name in Monday morning's fatal shooting in the parking lot at the Fox Club Lounge.

Missoula County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Paige Pavalone said the victim was from Louisiana.

"The Missoula County Sheriff's-Coroner's Office has identified the victim in the Earnest Street shooting as Christopher Michael Hymel, a 23 year-old male from Louisiana," Pavalone said. "The cause of death was due to a single gunshot wound to the chest, and the manner of death was a homicide."

Pavalone said the Missoula Police Department is still investigating the shooting, and any charges will have to be filed by the Missoula County Attorney's office. The name of the shooter will not be released unless charges are filed.
