Fozzy Welcome Machine Head’s Phil Demmel + Quiet Riot Singer James Durbin for Cover of AC/DC’s ‘T.N.T.’
Fozzy lit a match under their audience recently during a show in San Francisco, pulling out a cover of AC/DC's "T.N.T." And as the saying goes, they got by with a little help from their friends. Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel and Quiet Riot vocalist James Durbin stepped in to lend a hand.
As can be seen above, the cover was a hit with the crowd. Singer Chris Jericho stated upon introducing Demmel that the guitarist was now the best musician on the stage. He also invited Durbin up for the performance at Slim's, which was captured in the fan-shot video above.
Fozzy have been out on the "Judas Rising" tour in support of the Judas album. The band has a bit of a break before resuming the run March 27 in Milwaukee. The break comes at a decent time as one of the support bands on the bill, Santa Cruz, recently split while out on tour. But Through Fire and Dark Sky Choir remain as part of the touring package. See all the remaining dates here.
In other Fozzy-related news, the Chris Jericho Rock 'n' Wrestling Rager at Sea Cruise just added a headliner to the performance lineup as Corey Taylor will join a bill that also includes Fozzy, Phil Campbell & the Bastard Sons, Kyng and plenty more. The cruise, which also features world-class wrestling, will set sail Oct. 27 from Miami to Nassau in the Bahamas before returning on Oct. 31.
