The coming of the first 'Fury' trailer from director David Ayer ('End of Watch,' 'The Fast and Furious') brings with it a harsh look at the toll of war, as Brad Pitt leads the charge against the Nazis with his own band of brothers, of sorts, and one mighty tank.

It's April, 1945, in the midst of World War II, as Pitt's sergeant "Wardaddy" leads his tank, Fury, and his team into battle. As he says, "Ideals are peaceful, history is violent." We've already gone behind the scenes of 'Fury' and received the first poster, but we hadn't seen anything beyond jagged bits of footage before this. Though, the cast of supporting characters, including Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman ('Noah,' 'Percy Jackson'), Jon Bernthal ('The Walking Dead'), Michael Pena (Ayer's 'End of Watch' buddy), Jason Isaacs ('Harry Potter') and even Scott Eastwood (Clint Eastwood's magazine-ad son), is enough to pique interest.

From the official plot synopsis:

As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

It's easy to draw some comparisons to various war movies, even the visuals of the recent 'Monuments Men,' but Ayer has created some hits in the past ... 'Sabotage' notwithstanding, of course.

'Fury' rolls out on November 14.
