Ghostly Tours Planned at Hamilton Museum
These tours often sell out, but you might want to call and find out if there's still room for you on the Paranormal Investigations of Hamilton's Ravalli County Museum. The tours are only two nights this year, October 19 and October 26. You go into the building at 10 p.m. and, if you're lucky and survive, leave at 3 a.m. The building has a rich history. It started as the Ravalli County Courthouse and, for a time, housed jail cells for the Ravalli County Sheriff's Office. Over the years, volunteers with the museum have had some unexplained incidents. Paranormal Investigators have visited the building at times. These two locally organized overnight sessions will include EVP and EMP devices, thermal lasers, along with spirit boxes and even some psychic readings for the participants. $20 for Bitterroot Historical Society members and $25 for non-members. You may have to be a waiting list, but do call (406) 363-3338.
No one under age 14 is allowed and those under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You will sign a liability waiver. (Views expressed during Ghost Tours are not necessarily the views of the Ravalli County Museum & Historical Society, its board, volunteers or staff.)
