It's kind of crazy to think about how long renovations have been happening over at the Radio Central Building in downtown Missoula. Renovations began on that spot in 2018; to put it into perspective, I moved to Missoula in 2018. It's been four years and I've never known a time when that building wasn't being worked on in some way!

Which is perhaps why it feels like such a big deal that they've announced that renovations are finally complete, and a grand opening date is set to show off the new building!

Missoula's Radio Central Building Will Have Its Grand Opening on June 21st

According to a press release, the building is ready to go and will have a grand opening ceremony on Tuesday, June 21st at 2:00 PM. The Radio Central Building is currently home to many Missoula staples, including the Empanada Joint, In2itive Architecture, Smooch Cosmetics, and more.

The Radio Central Building, located on Main Street, has been a fixture of downtown Missoula since before pretty much any of us were born - the building was first built back in 1900. The new renovations aim to restore the building to its historic glory.
