We have another opportunity to run a Griz playoff game on The Blaze.  As you know, we aired the Griz/Cat victory on 96.3 and got a huge, positive reaction.  Thank you, by the way, for listening. We were going to simply make airing the Griz/Cat brawl the one game we aired each year on The Blaze.  But now we're getting a ton of requests to air the December 3rd game as well, which we're perfectly willing to do if that's what you want.  This is YOUR station, we're down with whatever you guys want.  Locals are trying to figure out how to see and hear this game as it will only be offered on ESPN3 (not real helpful to Montanans) and on the Griz AM flagship station, 1290 KGVO, which will only reach so far.  So if we can help more people hear what they want, we're all for it.

In the meantime, John Sterrett and friends have started a Facebook petition to have ESPN air FCS playoff games here. ESPN is offering this canned response to fans:

"Thank you for contacting ESPN.

ESPN makes its programming decisions based on a number of factors, including viewership, as reflected by ratings and the interest from advertisers and affiliates, on a nationwide basis.

ESPN3 is ESPN's live multi-screen sports network, a 24/7 destination that delivers thousands of global sports events annually and accessible online via WatchESPN.com. It is currently available to approximately 70 million homes at no additional cost to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated service provider. The network is also available at no cost to approximately 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers connected to on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks. It is also accessible through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold members and on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app through an affiliated provider."

Judging by the response when we asked you about this next game this morning, we'll likely air it on 96.3.  Unfortunately, we will not have the broadcast rights to air it on our stream, which sucks for dudes like Missoulian Bubba Wallace and his boys serving in Afghanistan and Michelle Ruark's hubby in North Dakota.  We'd loooooove to stream this for you, we simply do not have the legal rights.

Thank you all for your input, have a rad Turkey Day, be listening next week to win tickets to the game!!
