Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale made a young fan’s life over the weekend, bringing her onstage during the band’s performance at the 2019 Sonic Temple Festival. Loudwire’s Gear Factor, powered by Sweetwater, was there to capture the heartwarming moment, including when Hale gifted her custom Epiphone Explorer to the young superfan.

Karissa first met up with Halestorm at their meet-and-greet session, before being invited backstage to hang out with the band and exchange Howard Dean "Byah!" screams.

After Halestorm ripped through Grammy-award winning “Love Bites (So Do I),” Lzzy told the crowd they’d been hanging out with fans all day and had been searching for the coolest Halestorm fanatic amongst the thousands at MAPFRE Stadium. The fan chosen was young Karissa and she was met with a huge applause from the audience.

“I want to tell you something, Karissa. I have a lot of these,” Hale said about her Explorer. “And I think you should have this. Karissa, thanks so much for being a fan.” Lzzy presented the guitar to her coolest fan, while Karissa beamed with excitement from the stage. Lzzy even gave her a kiss on the cheek to complete the incredible moment.
