Missoula Craft Beer Supports Camp Mak-A-Dream
If you were in Missoula for TOTFEST 2025, you already know it was the loudest potato throwdown on earth. Twenty bands, two stages, tater tot casseroles that would make your grandmother cry, and even a tater tot eating contest. All to benefit Camp Mak-A-Dream, the oncology camp up in Gold Creek that provides Montana kids and their families with memories money can’t buy.
If you are like me, you may have had a full calendar and missed the show. I was in the pit at another concert in Las Vegas while everyone here was banging their heads and crushing tater tots in Missoula. I was bummed I couldn't be there. Thankfully, there is still a way to help a good cause and drink beer.
Heavy Metal Hot Dish, TO GO!
For the 2nd year, TOTFEST partnered with Odd Pitch Brewing to create a specialty beer called Heavy Metal Hot Dish. It’s delicious, brewed for people who like to drink A LOT of beer. And, most importantly, one dollar from every single can sold goes directly to Camp Mak-A-Dream. Every time you crack one open, you’re basically doing good deeds and helping families battling cancer.
Where to Get It
You don’t have to wait until next year’s festival. Cans of Heavy Metal Hot Dish are available now at the Good Food Store in Missoula. Stock is limited, so when it’s gone, it’s gone. If you want to drink a beer that rocks as hard as the bands that lit up TOTFEST, get over there now.
Good Cause, Good Beer
Even if you missed the music, you don’t have to miss the mission. Pick up a pack, support an amazing camp for Montana families, and raise your can to the loudest, crunchiest fundraiser of the summer.
