Help Build Bikes for Kids Who Suffered a Harsh Winter
The Montana areas of Heart Butte and the Blackfeet Nation suffered a winter so severe that they made the national news. Debilitating, record breaking snowfall made it impossible for plows and workers to get in there to restore power, but you'll remember that Western Montana came together to deliver much needed food and clean water.
With that said, Essential Eats Distribution (the name sounds familiar because they recently invited you to the Pearl Jam show) has teamed up with Free Cycles to deliver 60 bikes to kids in need around the Blackfeet Nation.
Tonight is night #2 of building bikes, it's an assembly line and no experience is necessary, the great Free Cycles crew will show you everything you need to know. Plus, you'll get free drinks and dinner.
If you're interested, please come to Free Cycles at 732 S. 1st W. this evening (4/19) starting at 4. If you can't make it right at 4, no worries, they'll be building bikes until 8 p.m.
