Highly Suspect, Yelawolf Announce Bonner Concert This October
The concert announcements continue to roll in late into the season for the Kettlehouse Amphitheater in Bonner.
Highly Suspect is finally making their Kettlehouse Amphitheater debut on Thursday, Oct. 1st, when they bring The War Within Tour to Bonner. They’ll be joined by multiple platinum rap artist Yelawolf along with Texas-based rockers Passengers Unknown. This will create one of the most interesting line-ups at the KH that we’ve seen in a long time.

This announcement brought back some memories for me.
I had the pleasure of seeing Highly Suspect perform years ago in a small venue under the Golden Rose in downtown Missoula. (I forget the name of the place) It’s safe to say there could have been no more than about 40 or so people in attendance. At the time, I thought it odd that a group of musicians who sounded as talented as they did was performing in front of a crowd as small as that.
Then, the very next day, Highly Suspect received their first-ever Grammy nomination.

After being nominated for a Grammy award, Highly Suspect would go on to become a huge success. They blended together elements of rock and alternative to create an original sound that stands out from many other bands today. Their songs “Lydia,” “My Name Is Human,” and “16” became some of the many popular songs on the charts of rock radio stations across the United States.
As mentioned earlier, Yelawolf will be returning to Bonner for a second time. In 2023, he performed alongside Dirty Heads in a sold-out show. He blends southern-style hip hop, rock, and country to create a sound that fits perfectly into a lineup that doesn’t want to play by the rules.
