Horn Porn 2017 – Photos of Successful Montana Hunts

My first archery bull. Not the herd bull I was sneaking in on but a trophy just the same. My son was helping call for me and this satellite came straight at me. Through the heart at 14 yards and he was down in 30 seconds. Never even ran away because he never knew what hit him.

Well my fellow hunters and huntress’ another general hunting season has come to a close.  It was an outstanding year for big game hunting in Montana.

We could tell it was going to be a good season, since launching this year’s Horn Porn back in September. A steady flow of successful hunting photos poured into our website, and with each one adding more excitement to our season.

If you are like me, you had a long season full of memories and a freezer NOT full of meat. Its okay, as statistics show that 85% of Montana hunters will not fill a tag in any given year.
