Hurricane Harvey Causes Gas Prices to Rise
Hurricane Harvey has devastated much of Texas and Louisiana. When natural disasters hit the U.S, it affects all of us. Tons of volunteers from our state have made there way to south Texas to help with relief. Meanwhile, the hurricane is affecting all of us here back home. Harvey knocked out at least 15 oil refineries in the Lone Star State. Including one of the largest refineries in the country. That means a drop in production and an increase in price. Some say that the current price could double, while the U.S. recovers from Hurricane Harvey.
